Pokemon sun and moon has an amazing over world and updated the 8 gym concept that was getting old. the game looks great and is helping people achieve the 3d pokemon world we've always wanted. why complain?

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

The legacy and popularity of the franchise built over 20 years. Pokemon is among the few franchises in the industry with incredible worldwide prestige and recognition beyond gaming (along with Mario and GTA, although with more controversial reasons for the latter). With so much build-up for the 20th anniversary, Game Freak, Pokémon Company, and Nintendo have gone all out with reigniting the passion of capturing and battling Pokemon, exploring regions, and communicating with others. Congrats to Sun and Moon! Can't wait for these games!
My initial predictions is that it will sell somewhere in between ORAS and XY, but there is a chance that it can overtake XY o:

With the news that Sun and Moon have more pre orders than every Nintendo game (not even Pokémon only, but EVERY nintendo game, not to mention it's also over COD in some countries), you think there is A CHANCE to sell more than XY... A chance?
Like, a very, little chance?
Let's just say that is 99% sure it will outsell XY.

Well, you never know when something happens that can make sales drop quickly, like a Switch port or something
Still looks to do very well, but I'm usually pretty pessimistic about sales :p
