That can't be right, BotW alone should sell that much. I know Nintendo always lowballs it but that seems much too low, unless they know they screwed up somewhere (price/launch line-up/etc.).

I remember Nintendo pushing to much Wii U supply in the past and having issue with that. So they'll like want to prevent that this time.

I was hoping they'd do that by making their product desirable. =/

On the desirable field, NS seems to be doing better then the Wii U, i think . Even if NS proves to be popular, overschipping is never good.

True, though 2 million is less than what the Wii U and 3DS managed iirc.

Seems a low number... Anyway sincerely wish good luck with this. The industry needs a third player, and needs a company to represent the legacy of the industry AND need a family oriented product line.

If it had: colonial marines (the promised one for the wiiu not the one was delivered on pc), alien isolation, mass effect, arkham, some other third parties, more mature games and less censorship than the wiiu, I would buy it. But I guess that's not going to happen.

Wish them the best of luck :D

If they release it on March 31, which is a Friday, 2 million is not that bad

.. represent the legacy of the industry... What does that mean?

I guess they want to do another Amiibo launch thing.

Low stock = High Demand

They apparently did say that, in an investors meeting (or Q and A) after the Switch reveal. It was explained in a tweet by one of their investors (tweet deleted since then).

That better not be true, that would be so backwards. What's the point of having a system that works as both a handheld and home console... and then releasing a dedicated handheld after... Can't believe they would do that.

Maube both will use the same cartridges and the 3DS sucessor wil be cheaper than Switch and handheld only.

Make it So.

That's the only way it would work... and then it's basically just a Switch Lite anyway, if they made a dedicated handheld with a seperate library it would be awful.
