W101 can already be played without the screen on Wii U already you just use the second analogue to draw, it's infact more practical and faster than using the screen and allows the player to take advatage more technical play and depth as you don't need to take your hands off the controller. The only things they'd need to sort out are some of the puzzles.

Yes, I meant the puzzles and some areas where the action switches from TV to Gamepad. It is possible to have both screens in one, but then it takes away some of the players sight. As I said, it's not impossible, it's just uncomfortable. I prefer drawing with the right stick, on a side note. I only draw at some places where you have to line certain shapes on the floor, but those are just secrets. Drawing on the Gamepad is more precise, but much slower due to switching hand positioning, just like you said.
