Interesting. Wonder how this thing runs.
Of course there are things like this out there. Tablets with controller nubs have been around. I don't know how Nintendo thought this was a good idea. I hope these guys sue Nintendo back to the stone age.

But i think in terms GPU and CPU, NS is going to be the most powerfull handled this gen , exclusive GPU contract with Nvidia already seal that deal , and also NS is a dedicated mobile consoles that can be optimize (unlike ordinary tablet or smart devices ) and dont forget thye Tegra is not ordinary tegra it 's a modified one. |
modified or not it's still has around 500GF of single precision performance. That maybe twice what the wiiU had but that's not really saying a lot.
Ah well, Nintendo hasn't been about power in a while. thing though is that using a mobile processor there really is noyhing stopping anyone from making an Android tablet that acts and functions just like the switch.

Yeah, but the red ocean market is full of PC, PS4 and Xbox fans. On casual device eventho it's pack with Apple and Android it still left for dedicated gaming device. You are right it's not powerfull but most of Nintendo games are made not to be realisticly like Uncharted, and also most games that run on android and Appleare suck , and also with this device all Nintendo games studio and developer will be focusing on one device, and for third party this will be easier then Wii U, and will get more 3rd party support then the Wii U but of course it will not match the quantity of third party support on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Well. You have the JXD S192, powered by Tegra K1.
Does amazing well at Emulating, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, DS and various other platforms.
You also have the Ipega controller that allows any tablet to have physical controls.![]()
You could theoretically get the Shield Tablet and whack in there and Stream high-end PC games or emulate.

The Nintendo Switches concept is nothing new, but it should also be the most polished version of this concept with some luck, just a shame that graphically it's going to seem like a generation behind the Playstation 4 Pro and Scorpio.
I really dislike the Switches dock though.

The funny thing is that when this was posted on this very same site a couple of weeks ago, almost everybody hated the concept. And now that Nintendo confirmed it, almost everybody loves it and it is "innovation".

I think that time , most of people did not sure how the Nintendo NX concept is? Especially when Nintendo popular with it's creativity and innovation , and then when last week people saw that, people were not confinced that Nintendo will just copying others people work. But Peoples also forget that a good product is not about innovation but also renovations and value.

A) that thing doesn't double as anything home console / handheld wise, it simply has removable controller parts
and
B) that thing looks mega cheap :o

Nintendo's design would have to be pretty similar for them to have much of any case. Not to mention if its a Chinese technology piece sold exclusively in China the odds are that its borrowing from some other technology and not paying royalties themselves...
again though, its not at all the same. Regardless you can't copyright something broad like the concept of controllers that seperate. Its something plenty of companies already do in terms of tablets

Oh, dont get me wrong. I do like the concept. And I do like what Nintendo is doing with it on their product. And I think that, if the price is right, they might have a winner on their hand. I just find it curious how fast people's perception of something can change, depending on the circunstances.
