2 Items, and you can switch between them. The new console name (and concept) is switch. MK8 ready.

BAAAAM: name it 'Mario Kart 8: Switch'.

Almost zero effort for tons of sells and a product that market the own console. Just by chose a mechanic in a game already out that is the name of the console.

Double Dash had the 2 item system back on the GC I think they just decided to revisit the mechanic coincidentally.

I don't think so.. but I do enjoy playing Double Dash so I would welcome these changes/additions
