Actually, the detachable controllers is one of my main issues with the console. They look small, awkward, and uncomfortable to use. Though, I'm not going to write it off just yet. I had concerning issues with the gamecube controller, the wiimote, and the tablet controller, but after using them, I found them to be better than I expected. I'll wait and see on these.

Yeah I had the same experience, they all looked unconfortable to me and at the end they felt good, specially the brilliant GC one, so that's why I think this will feel better than it looks.

I know that I´m in a minority, but I loved the Wiimote+Nunchuck configuration on the Wii, and I´m glad that a similar configuration will be available to play on the Switch.

One thing that makes gaming tiresome to me is the fact that we need to keep our wrists unnaturally twisted in order to handle any ordinary controller (specially the PS4 controller). Maybe it´s just me, but my wrists sort of hurt after a long gaming session. I never had this problem with the Nunchunk+Wiimote because I could lay my hands wherever felt more confortable.

I don´t understand why people are arguing so much about that. It´s optional. If you don´t like it then just don´t detach them. It´s good to have options and the Switch seems to offer a lot of them.

Yeah, I feel about the same. I've come to feel that when it comes to Nintendo, you can't write off their products just yet until you try them.

You are not alone, it happens to me sometimes too, and also my shoulders get tense if I keep the same position. This, while maybe not the best possible gamepad to play with, looks confortable to me.

It's like a mini remote, the wiimote and nunchuck, but I would prefer holding it in both hands because it would be more natural to me :p

I get tired of that position often, but maybe is just me, I though several times on how confortable would be a wii like gamepad if it didn't had that cable in the middle and this kind of like that.

That's true, more options the better

As long as the mini remotes have a good battery life and connectivity

Of course is not xD

But in the worst case you probably can call Nintendo and ask them to send you one, not sure about the price thought.
