I'm a bit sceptikal, but looking forward to the system! It's a console I'M looking forward to, but that also makes me doubt it'll sell well, but maybe it only needs to sell 30m units and 5-10 games/console to make it profitable. And that might be doable.
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

We'll see how impresive your deductive powers are or whether nintendo is really good at switching seamlessly from console to protable |
Yes the video shows switching, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3c6MWsEE884&feature=youtu.be&t=29s.
Notice how gameplay doesn't stop or freeze for a moment, hell he doesn't even have to pause the game. That shows the dock is doing no gpu/cpu calculations, there's not a chance in hell you can just remove hardware that is performing rendering or calculations like that. It's pretty obvious really.
Though the dock could have inbuilt tech to do fancy upscaling it won't actually do any calculations in the game. It won't give additional cpu,gpu or ram. The best you can hope for is that it overclocks the tech already in the tablet.

The form factor alone is enough to go on to say it won't be more powerful than an XBO. |
If it is more powerful than an Xbox One than it will be mega expensive. The Xbox One S is $299US and does not include an expensive and portable LCD screen. Yeh it has a UHD blu ray player so we can subtract the $30 or so dollars for that but i don't think it will be near Xbox One level power unless it is $299US+. How on earth could Nintendo get Xbox One level power in something that looks to be 5% of the Xbox One S's size? Even when you minus the internal power supply(I'm assuming the Switch will run an external power brick) and HDD of the Xbox One S it is still huge compared to the Switch.

Oh.. good catch.

Skyrim being the Bethesda game shown is kind of interesting. What about Fallout 4?

Yes it is a little presumptious, it depends what you mean by roughly. But a substantial boost over the WiiU in power for a handheld device isn't really feasible. Even a marginal increase would make it a phenomenal device! |
Watch this footage closely on 1080p, and I think you'll notice the Switch might be considerably more powerful than Wii U:
3D World didn't look nearly as good as this.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

It's funny, they are marketing to every single adult demographic of significant size in the market: average joes, casuals, core gamers, esports fans, hipsters, dudebros, college guys. But not a single child in sight. Huh. Seems they've learned something :P

Nowhere it suggest there is no extra power. But to your point, it also dosent necessarily suggest it will have.I just think the dock is too big to be just one big charging unit.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
