Yeah, 3ds flopped like the wii u  and Nintendo is in red , in spite of making profit, and super mario run is going to flop just like Pokemon go did, so the both, handheld and home console NX is very crucial to the company...

 

Forgive me for my ironic style, but your comment sounds like NX defines the future of Nintendo...Like if it fails, Nintendo will be dead... Which is not true for obvious reasons!

The NX reveal will be soon, and since that's all they will be asked about at the strategy meeting, why have it? They want to do a special event.

Yes, 3DS is yoy mostly thanks to Pokemon Go, but fact is that 3DS is dying, next year will be 7. year of 3DS on market, you really can't say that 3DS has long life ahead.

That's not really a change. Fall lasts until Dec 21-ish. If it is revealed by the end of the year, it will mostly likely be in the fall, since I can't see a company announcing a console just days before or after Christmas. I suppose it's possible they could announce it right before New Years, but that would be really odd.

Yes, Nintendo said "more on NX is coming by the end of this year", but it would be relly odd to reavile it middle of holiday season even in December, only that has some sense to me would be sometime before Black Friday and start of holiday season. So that would be middle of November but Pokemon will be relased on 18. November..

Luckily Nintendo will give us some infos next week.

Ah, yeah game-wise it's dying  beacause it has got almost all of the big and less big guns, Pokemon s/m is the last one and of course it's getting old! In that way, you're right!

 

Sales-wise it's doing pretty well and it's very impressive that the Pokemon go effect continues, while the game has declined in use on mobile and in mindshare! I can't wait to see this effect combined with Pokemon S/M release!

Also, 2ds is doing exceptionally thanks to its very low price bundled with MK7 and it was just released in japan, helping 3ds to be yoy up in its best selling but saturated market too!
