So no PC version announced. What is it with Red Dead and not coming to PC?

Rumors (or "the internet") say that it's because the code of the game was such a mess that they weren't able to port it to PC.

The announcement that the second part isn't coming to PC either (sadly, as I don't have intention to buy neither of those consoles) gives that rumor a little less credibility.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Meh name.

Why not something cool like Red Dead Revolution or something, besides it's the 3rd Red Dead game.

I thought that too, Revolution that is. Keep with the RDR thing.

Anyway, sounds good, and not too long to wait either. Sometimes we wait far too long for games and only a year announcement before means they are nearly done with it... not just starting.

Hmm, pie.

so, doesnt seem like john marston is in that picture right?

Save this post: they'll make a bullshit excuse as to why its not launching on the same day as the PS4 and XB1 versions, just to launch it about 1 year later so people will double dip.

I was hoping title be "Red Dead Reckoning" or similar as now even Rockstar seems to have forgotten Red Dead Revolver.

Ps5 / XB2 versions in 2020 and pc a year after. Maximise sales like they did with gta V. So many pc buyers were either double or triple dipping.  That could have set a precedent for rockstar who love money.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

What a nice game for the launch lineup of the Scorpio.

If I were MS I would spend huge numbers for exclusive marketing rights:

- make a Scorpio bundle
- advertise the best graphics ever seen on a console
- Support Developer to reach 4k resolution
- Advertise exclusive DLC or something like that.

Rumors are that Sony paid for this though.
Well gotta finde another big blockbuster for Holiday 2017 then. I bet there will be quite a few.

Anyway, I liked RDR so this will be a great first game to play on the Scorpio.

I don't want to be that guy, but let's be honest: It will be delayed.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
