-Around 800 Pokemon Total
-No New Types
-Ash-Pikachu exists
-Aloan forms of Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Diglett, Dugtrio
-Special forms for Pikachu (Ash-Pikachu?) that wears hats
-Starter leaks from months ago ARE real. (Grass started is a archer, fire starter is a wrestler, and water starter is a ballerina (?)
-The legendaries for both Sun and Moon have pre-evolution forms
-A pokeball pokemon (similar to the mushroom from last gen or so)
-8 Z Beast pokemon
-186 Trainer Types
-720 (?) moves
-4 new ribbons

Yeah, if it`s only 800 total then that`s only like 80 new ones, which isn`t enough!

Starting to have some doubts about S/M. heh, who knows, maybe it`s lacking a lot of things that other gens have had simply because it`s going to be a rushed gen they push out quick while saving a lot of things for a gen 8 release on NX in a couple years time.

Just like Megas "substituted" new Pokemon last gen, Alolan forms do the same here. I dont like that. I want more new Pokemon.

Ha, you know what my issue with this is!

But it's not anymore rushed than any other Pokemon game, infact it's less so than most as there was a year break after OR/AS.

Huh, they don't have many surprises left when it comes to alolan forms. It's a really missed opportunity that they didn't spread out the alolan form love to pokemon from all previous gens. We'll probably never see this feature again (unless they do _____ forms for where ever the next gen will be, but still not quite the same)

I was more thinking rushed as in this will be a really short gen with little time between the start of gen 7 and them moving on to gen 8.

With them having a precedent for skipping both 3rd versions and remakes in previous gens it may well end up a really short one, especially if they want to get a mainline Pokemon game out on the NX ASAP.

And yeah... I know what your issue is. The lack of dolphins

They could just have the next gen 7 game(s) on NX. Yeah that'd be breaking the tradition of each Pokemon gen sticking to one system, but they've well shown they're not afraid to mess with the expected.

Even without dolphins, I'll still buy this game and like it, but I just really hope I get to see a dolphin pokemon before I croak.

There is now a dolphin pokemon lol.  But your gonna get mad as its a ghost/fairy lmao.

 

(Look at tapu koko counterparts. 1 is shape as a dolphin)
