Forums - Sony - Sony Forecasting 'Hundreds of Thousands' of PlayStation VR Sales

Unless this is given away, I see this selling less than the Move controllers or Kinect.

I still don't see people's fascination with VR. It will have a niche market and then get no support just like 3D gaming did. I really hope the NX has nothing to do with VR.

Granted, with my new Google Pixel purchase I'm getting a free Daydream set lol. Probably use a couple times then toss in drawer... unless it works for porn.

Well on PC it has good support if you include unofficial support.  Thought the rift had 500+ experiences but that includes probably everything.

I'd like to read more about sickness. I don't know if certain games do cause sickness or it's more personal. Some people might feel sick and some not..

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

There were three ravens sat on a tree / They were as blacke as they might be / The one of them said to his mate, Where shall we our breakfast take?

Sickness hardly occurs with the new vr devices it was more a thing with the development kits.  But a pro tip is that if you feel any vr tiredness that happens with new vr players stop playing. I am not an expert but VR drains your energy more than just playing a game on tv.

So why i havent seen the move or kincet being sold out? we are talking about a 400€ device here by the way

What are you talking about? I seriously don't understand your question / reply.

1) Move/Kinect - well at least Kinect, did sell out and sell well in the beginning.
2) Price is irrelavant to my comparison / statement that VR will be a niche market and die out just like 3D gaming.
