I think that places like Digital Foundry scrutinise every little aspect to make he problems look bigger than they actually are. I've seen them go crazy over a few frames dropped which in the real world it doesn't really matter at all. 

I do like to watch Digital Fountry's comparisons though because they are very insightful.

I can only speak for myself, but I've had significant frame-rate issues with TLG. I'd say it was running in the 20's almost 100% of the time while exploring outdoor environments, and there were instances where it looked and felt like it'd dropped below 20fps. It could just be my PS4 though; it's hard to know :p

Anyway, on the bright side i still enjoyed the game immensely. While the drops could be visually distracting, they rarely got in the way of actually playing the game. You're rarely put in a situation where the larger input delay matters. Still, a bit more stability would be nice.

Don't tell me you died to them, lol,

There will be some actual killer pigs/boars later on, but I guess you are prepared now xP

Also, you can actually go down that huge hole in the middle of Majula, later you'll be able to buy easier access to decend it, but do it the cool way, get the cat ring with the cat near there and have some fun trying it! (use your souls before doing it xP)

Also, don't kill any NPC, ever, you'll get everything they drop by other means, only the blue sentinels and blood covenant master are worth killing as they drop stuff you would need a DAMN LOT of work to get otherwise, but killing NPCs is an one way highway, once you kill one there is no going back, and there are consequences (minor if you kill just one or two), so if you are aiming for the platinum down the road, you'll probably have to kill those two, but save it for the third playthrough (which should be the one you get the platinum on).

And, hmm, be aware of giant dinossaur skeletons and NPCs behind a magic barrier after crossing a huge door.

They didn't kill me but they were tough little bastards. Especially for somebody with shit weapons who has only just started to learn the ropes.

OK a couple more hours in and I experience a framerate drip in TLG. It was probably in the 20s but its in a big area right after a narrow dungeon. Since the game is basically has no loading screen from one point to another with very little cut scenes in between. I'm sure the game needs time to load.

It wasn't a big problem lasted a sec and my advance would be once you just entered an open area and framerate starts to dip. Just stand for a sec and look at the games beautiful graphics. Then goes back to normal

You dont have blast processing that the PS4 Pro has , thats why :o
