Anybody else playing For Honor? I'm enjoying it so far, which is kind of surprising, I'd heard negative impressions from people who played the beta. The campaign has a pretty good story, though it's a bit repetitive gameplay-wise. The multiplayer is fun though, assuming you're a patient person.

Loving it. Haven't touched the single player yet though.

Glad to hear it has a good story,

We could play together if you want. Unless you play with a nuboshi, then we are mortal enemies

Engadget accidentally put their Hoirzon review up a few hours ago

it's been taken down, but someone made a screencap

30 hours seems kind of short for a RPG. Maybe that's just the main story though. I'm glad she enjoyed it though, hopefully I will as well.

Mass effect is about 20~ hours. Skyrim is about 30 hours. Sure there is a huge number of side quests in skyrim but they are fetch quests for the most part. Shadow if mordor is 15 hours. The witcher 2 is 24 hours. Fall out 4 is 25 hours

But my point is 30~ for a RPG is decent

Considering time is something I'm lacking for in playing games. I'm glad Horizon isn't 60+ hours or more. The longer the games, the bigger my backlog grows :(

I voted for Horizon in the poll, im sure Nioh is great but Horizon just looks so fresh and exciting.

I am playing Samurai, but I haven't tried Nobushi yet (that's the fast one isn't it?). I've mainly been playing the big fat slow one and the long-range spear one.

the long range spear one is the Nobushi. Orochi is the fast one with the sword.

i been playing mainly with four characters. The Raider and Valkyrie from the raiders. and Orochi and Kensei from the Samuari. i played some with the shugoki (the fat samuari) he is fun, but certainly doesnt fit my playstyle. Knights just dont seem for me though, at all.

Yeah, if 30 hours is just the main story that's plenty, it'll probably be at least 60 hours with side content. The review doesn't really make it clear though.

i would think its mostly the main story plus some side quests here and there and such. i mean its not the best obviously, but its in the same range of other western RPG's out there

Square Enix debuted new screenshots of Kingdom Hearts III showing Olympus and Final Fantasy VII Remake at Monaco Anime Game International Conferences 2017.

Kingdom Hearts III

“This is the first time we show this screenshot of Kingdom Hearts III,” director Tetsuya Nomura said (via Gameblog.fr). “It’s happening in Thebes and they are fighting a new model of the Heartless. The Keyblade turns into a lot of things. Here it is a shield, but it can also be transformed into a chariot. This is called Power Form.”

Final Fantasy VII Remake

“Here is a new image of Final Fantasy VII,” director Tetsuya Nomura said (via Gameblog.fr). “I’ve put a lot of attention into the combat system, and it’s going to happen without interruption. In meetings, we’ve had a lot of problems with the grenades.” Nomura also mentioned that allies won’t take damage from grenades.

“Here is the first boss in the game,” Nomura continued. “It’s a Scorpion, and the scenery will be partly destructible. Sorry, I asked to show a video, but the company refused. The menus are not yet final, but I will talk more on another occasion.”

The voice actor for Kratos in the new God of War (Christopher Judge) has "God of War (2017)" in his twitter bio.

Might mean nothing, might mean everything.

Still don't know how to feel about someone else voicing Kratos and not Carson. From what I've heard he seems like a good choice, but still.

Took me 150 hours but I beat Tales of Berseria and got the platinum...

Better than Tales of Zesteria, would give the game a 8.6 but the links between Zesteria in story makes the game a 9.5 game for moments for me.

Still the game is in fact very short...I beat the game the second time in 7 hours and 30 minutes and feel sorry that I didn't recorded my playtrough I would have been number 2 on the speedrun board..:s.

Biggest negative point...You have to travel a lot back to where you came from, nothing so annoying in going into a dungeon and at the end have to go make it the whole way back...(they solve it later with bottles/Fast travel options)...
