Anyone else? I have like ~.3-1kb/s while I have upwards of 40mb on my Wii U and phones.

I have no issues with my Wii U or if I connect other units I have no issue either.  Do I just happen to have a bad PS4 or is it that bad for everyone? 

You should probably call Sony about the issue.

It is bad for me for the start but have hooked it up with a cable otherwise it takes me ages to download stuff.

You'd should run hardwired, or at the very least use a powerline connector. Wi-fi is terrible.

Did you try changing the DNS? Try 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

It's because the wifi card in the ps4 blows donkey balls. You need to run a hardwired connection - made my DL speeds go from an inconsistent 2MB/s to a rock steady 8MB/s. It's also prone to having the signal cut off during gaming sessions, though I'm sure there are plenty of people that never had to deal with these issues.

Do you live in a crowded area with a bunch of competing wifi signals?

The only thing I notice about the PS4 is if you are doing something with the system which involves the net then your download speed can slow down to a crawl at times, say if I have youtube open on the console sometimes the dl of a game in the background can slow to around 100kbps, close youtube and it goes back up to my line speed (which isn't great still) but yeah it's 13 times faster if the PS4 isn't doing something that if it is.

Yeah I gotta say I am a bit disapointed, I dont live in a crowded area. Nothing should interfere with my signal. Do the Pro have a better Wifi card? I am thinking about upgrading and if that would be improved it would make my decision a bit easier.

is the info in the OP correct about getting less than 1kbps to the system? if that is the case there is something very wrong with your setup, that isn't because of the lower quality Wi-Fi card in the PS4, that is not normal for the system if that is the reason for this thread.

I think theirs something wrong with the ps4 wired or wireless. everytime I download something it starts of well but after a minute goes to a crawl and constantly getting disconnected from the chat and im using a wired connection getting 9mb when it should be 50mb with net type 2 its very weird
