The guy that played that game (which is a different one btw) happened to like it, so what? Other critics and youtubers liked it too, just not the majority. Gamexplain has been negative about many Nintendo games as Twilight Princess HD, Mario Tennis, Amiibo Festival, Star Fox Zero, Mario Party 9 and many others.

This game is getting good reviews, get over it.

Sticker Star got good reviews too, but it's still the most hated PM game everybody wished for was the last one. We will not fall for it again tho. Color Splash will sell terrible and hopefully popping the bubble Nintendo's living in right now. It happened with Farce and it will happen with this one.

Whatever dude, keep it bitter, the rest of us will have some fun.

Oh, and Gamexplain hated Sticker Star ;)

So we should believe their review to be disingenuous? They played it and gave their thoughts about it. If you don't like it, that's fine. Doesn't mean others should follow suit just to let it fail for the sake of it. I don't get this mentality at times. I like Star fox Zero for what it was, as well as what I played of games like Other M. Not every game is perfect or what we wanted, that's reality. People liked the latest Street Fighter, Halo, and other games with flaws. That's fine, good on them. Why rain on their parade?

"The amount of variety here may even rival Thousand Year Door"

Well,  colour me surprised. I really didn't expect him to like it, knowing that the guy really dislikes SS. I'll try to be less skeptical and read the reviews. Though I'm just too stubborn with this franchise, because it's probably my favourite Nintendo franchise after Zelda. But I can't deny the fact that some SS haters like me are giving the game good scores xD.

For me this is like a Nintendo Tearaway instead of something like TYD, you only have to accept that the series is going to another direction. It may be painful for some old time fans but at least is good to see they managed to make this new direction work, which sadly didn't happened with SS.

Yeah, but as you said the process is really, really, really painful. I don't really know if I'll ever accept this new direction. I'm not ready yet XD. But that was because of my experience with Sticker Star. Seeing one of your favourite franchises in a really bad shape hurts. I can see, based on clips, that the game has a way better writing and good humour overall, which is nice to see. It was just not there in SS, which is a bland, humourless game. The combat system though... I still don't imagine myself playing that combat system for 20, 30 hours. But it's intriguing that SS-haters are giving this game a free pass. Including the combat system, which now it seems it's not pointless (according to Gamexplain). I'm conflicted right now XD.

But, hey, as always, I'm glad that people are enjoying the game, and having fun with it. That's what matters.

Color Splash was doomed from the beginning anyway. I've nothing to do with that, just stating the obvious. For some reason Nintendo decided to make a sequel to the most hated Paper Mario game and they will feel the consequences, just like what happened with Farce.

Two main differences here.  One, Federation Force got ok reviews, not good.  Two, FF was actively moving away from Metroid.  FAR away.  While CS is moving towards th original Paper Mario style.  It is still separated from TTYD, but it is closer none the less, being praised for ways it returns to form while FF was praised only for things Metroid fans aren't looking for.  Also, consider the reviewers, not the review site in many cases.  In this case, the reason Gamexplain's review is impressive is because Andre absolutely HATES Sticker Star, something he has made vocally clear with every single video or demonstration of Color Splash since and including its unvailing.  So for him to like this one a lot means something went right.

If you think this game is gonna flop at Federation Force levels you are out of reality here, this game could be esily a million seller by the time Xmas comes, is charming, is fun, is good for publics from all ages, it looks phenomenal, is a Mario game and it has positive reviews. I'm not seeing this floping hard.

The fact that Andre is totally loving this game is what's giving me a headache right now xD. He was spreading his SS hate in all the Colour Splash videos, basically.
