I choose Manga.
Anime takes long time. And mostly originals are superior to anime.

Anime hands down. An ideal anime will technically always be better than an ideal manga since it has actual movement, voice acting and soundtracks which can really set an atmosphere.

I thought since anime were often censored that the manga would have been too?

There are mangas that doesnt show it or kinda just make a shape of it. But in Animes (the ones I've watched) either:

- Removes the sex scene

- focuses on their head moving up and down and facial expressions (not the body)

- Says that the had sex (like you only hear sounds or they are shirtless when they woke up on bed) 

 

Also to note (if you dont know) there is a genre called shounen-ai which is like light yaoi. Where there is hardly to no sex scenes at all.

- But there were times that I compared the anime and the manga that even though it is shounen ai, the manga still had more touching when it comes to sex.

 

It makes sense because I think these get shown on TV in Japan (not sure) soooo they do have some restrictions. 

 

And lastly yes! Most of the Yaoi mangas shows it. And If you seach YAOI + the SMUT genre on some manga search thing......... ITS HOT! XD

I don't think it's because I'm from the US. There are alot of people in the US that enjoy stuff like that. I just personally don't.
