So, no cash-in. Gunther wins clean and is champion once again.

Of all the finishes I could've predicted, that was NOT one of them. So color me surprised.

Sami Zayn's chances of winning KOTR just sky rocketed. In fact, I think I see where this is going.

Sami wins KOTR, challenges Gunther at SummerSlam, and they build the story even further about how Sami has never won a world title and now this is his big chance inside MetLife to finally do it. Then, during the match's closing moments, JUST as he's FINALLY about to do it...

"BURRRN IT DOWWWWWN"

Seth comes down, cashes in MITB, and he screws Sami Zayn out of his dream moment - Just like he did to Roman at WM31. And that starts the long road to WrestleMania 42 back in Vegas where Sami has to go through Bron, Reed, the Royal Rumble, and overcome all the odds again to finally get Seth at WrestleMania and FINALLY win the world championship that has taken his entire 24-year career to win.

It's the Daniel Bryan story w/ a tinge of Chris Benoit sprinkled in.

Good theory, but I suppose not.

At this point, what is their end game with Sami?

The whole "Good guy chases but keeps losing the chance to get title" thing has been ongoing for years.

He got the IC title and that was a great moment but them teasing the World title run and then stopping halfway lol

@150 why the hell does Cody just jump directly into the RKO? How was he hoping that would play out for him?

Slightly weird moment in Kross vs Zayn. Ref lifted Sami's hand and in went straight down, but she didn't stop the match. She lifted it again and it didn't go down so the match kept going.

A little weird because that's the first time they've done the lifting hand thing in like years. They used to raise the hand three times, and if it fell the third time match was over. Since MMA took off, they just kind of slap them in the arm a bit and if they don't react it's over. I kind of like the older way better so maybe they're trying to get closer to that. Not a big deal either way but jumped out at me.

Cena vs Punk was ridiculous and overbooked and it was glorious. Cena and Punk still have great chemistry which carried the "wrestling" part of the match, and the sports entertainment part was good ol WWE fun.

Cena vs Cody at Summerslam isn't doing much for me. Kind of hope it's going to be a multiman match. Maybe Cody, Punk, Orton, and Cena or something.

All In is the best PPV even this year and nothing comes close. Fuck, that was amazing. Also that main event was a wonderful chaos of a Death Match. Good to see some returns. Hangman is new champ and the belt is no longer held hostage in a briefcase. AEW might have used the entire US supply of fireworks today. Only downer was it sounds like Adam Coles in ring career is over.

For a while its seemed like there was something was wrong with Cole beyond the injuries we knew about. Sucks, but there are plenty of roles in the business he can be good at, if he wants it, and of course, there's more to life thatn wrestling.

News says Seth is injured, that sucks :(

I'm a bit skeptical of that. I think it could be a way for them to have Seth Rollins make a surprise return at Summerslam and cash in.

It was a really good show. It was a long one, but surprisingly it moved at a good pace and the main event, including the finish, was excellent. Man that pop when Mox tapped out, and when Hangman opened the briefcase was awesome.

From what I’ve seen, it looks legit. If Seth Rollin’s injury is a work, it’s a lame execution with no real obvious way that this improves existing storylines.

Usually a worked injury fits neatly into a storyline, to cover a real injury, and involves some serious over-the top stuff (Running Austin over with a car, doing some guillotine stuff with chairs, or a massive bloody beat down).

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
