If that Halo Bundle is indeed going to offset the Amazon prediction then it's going to have to sell a hell of a lot because right now the PS4 is trouncing the XB1 on Amazon and there's no sign of it letting up.

The ps4 was beating the xbox last month and yet the xbox won september npd. 

Basically this.. until I see that halo bundle sell out everywhere else.. I'm leaning toward X1 for October..

How is that bundle doing everywhere else? I haven't really checked any other sites.

So if I read things right the XB1 is killing it at Gamestop! There are like 5 XB1 bundles before the PS4 comes into play.

On Bestbuy the Ps4 is number 2 while the XB1 is number 14.

On Target the Ps4 has number 4 and 7 and the XB1 has numbers 3 and 6.

Those are the only places I checked.

I wonder how Gears is doing overall. It definitely didn't have Uncharted 4-level legs on this chart anyway. This one will probably be a slow burn seller. Doing okay, but taking longer to get there.

You might want to read my post a couple more times. Here, I'll help you out:

Amazon was wrong last month for the very first time in three years and clearly it has something to do with above normal circumstances, because for it to be right up until last month shows quite clearly luck had nothing to do with it. If Amazon is wrong this month it will be once again because of extraneous circumstances and not because 'suddenly' Amazon can't predict the winner.

Absorb what I'm saying here because I foresee a comeback from you in the not too distant future suggesting I said with great certainty that the PS4 would win Oct when in fact I frankly have no clue just yet who will win this month. Once the OG XB1 stock runs out, all deals are also available on Amazon and the Pro has released, THEN we can trust Amazon as we had before.

The 1TB Gears bundle also isn't getting tracked on Amazon. Looking at Gamestop.com the Halo bundle is still the best selling XB1 bundle, and it looks like the CoD bundle is still big at Gamestop since it is the number one PS4 bundle. The slim is below the XB1 Madden bundle over there, as well as the Gamestop exclusive Blue $299 Gears bundle.

Amazon won't be accurate this holiday. Stock allocation between different retailers is going to throw things off.

PS4 Pro already down to #97 on the yearly chart. I think it will pass up the One S before it even launches.

I agree, although you can't trust Gamestop's charts like you can Amazon. It's really just the fact there's a bundle we can't account for, not really the position that bundle is on Gamestop's charts. All the other bundles make no difference and the XB1 has often been ahead in other charts but lost as Amazon suggested. We just have an unusual situation at the moment but I'm sure things wil rectify themselves once the Pro is launched.

Until then it's still up in the air.
