Forums - Gaming - I've decided to never buy games at MSRP from now on, just play Pokémon Go and get free scraps from PSN and XBL

Well pbroy, the problem is that from your list you don't have a timeless classic like a Zelda or Metroid game. Those are worth every penny and even to go to midnight launchs.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Day 1 is for games from franchises you KNOW will most likely be great.

For example:

Good- Buying a Super Smash Bros copy on day 1
Bad- Buying (insert sport) 2kwhatever on the first day.

Give them to people who actually want them then. Dont get problems like this. Dont get the games if you know youre not gonna have time nor the want to play them. Its that simple.

But but but, it feels so good to walk into the store on day 1 and walk out with that shiny new case, rip off the plastic and smell that lovely fresh plastic. Then place it on the shelf next to all the other pristine cases all neatly lined up, mine all mine, my precious.

No more physical releases would save me a lot of money :/ Is there a help line somehwere.
Brb, got to run my finger along the back of all my game cases.
