I tried playing MGS for the ps1 around the time I was playing heaps of Dreamcast and it was so pixely and blurry I literally couldnt make out what was happening on the screen. Im no graphic whore by any means but it was so ugly it was unplayable. I played the GC remake and it was a good game.

I knew about the controller thing before I fought him.. I just pressed select, and the guy told me.

Anyhow, every time I get him to one or two hp, he always manages to get me and I die.

This is with only 2 HP left, I almost made perfect, until he kept throwing that piece of $hit ball.

in order to pass the game you need to look at the back of the cd case (the games case) to find the code to contact meryl.

Only unintellectuals not willing to think don't like MGS2, don't listen to them, it's by far the best in the series

 Can anybody even take this serious? If you couldn't pick out what was going on on screen, then either you have very poor eyesight and hadn't yet been prescribed glasses, have a 7" TV, or your TV was simply broken. Yes, the gamecube remake was awesome and looked great, but I call BS.

Hey, leo-j. If you're still fighting Mantis, try blowing up the statues in the room with him. There's a reason their faces are taped up.........

Also, if Mantis is giving you such a hard time, you may want to start over on Normal difficulty. You can get back to where you are in a couple of hours if you skip the cut scenes. Trust me. Compared to some of the other guys you're going to face, Mantis is a push over.
