Hey, leo-j. If you're still fighting Mantis, try blowing up the statues in the room with him. There's a reason their faces are taped up.........
Also, if Mantis is giving you such a hard time, you may want to start over on Normal difficulty. You can get back to where you are in a couple of hours if you skip the cut scenes. Trust me. Compared to some of the other guys you're going to face, Mantis is a push over.
Congrats on discovering my all time favorite game series! Don't let anyone tell you that a game you enjoy isn't fun. Have a blast, kid.
