Let's do that, one of us or either of us is going to eat crow on this, so we shall see eventually! If I'm wrong, I'll eat my crow graciously*, as I've posted before, I don't know what NX actually is, not commited 100% on AMD providing for a home console, maybe it's a hybrid of some sort, but my belief from what I read so far makes me lean towards that hypothesis... but I'm not pedantic about it, brushing with the back of the hand any other opinion. When I read you in here, you sound like your theory is 100% fact proven & confirmed, not up to debate & anybody having another opinion on the matter must be ignorant or blind. Suit yourself, if you end up being right, congrats, if I'm right, I'll be the same person from the day before, not better or worse... In the end what I want is to play games, I don't play processors or brands!
* as a matter of fact I have already looked for a crow avatar in case I lose, so you see, I'm very nervous about losing on this matter ;) |
There isn't any proof for the "other side". It's just SMD64's hopes and dreams.
Eurogamer/Digital Foundry, IGN/Peer Schneider (confirmed by multiple sources), LPVG, Wall Street Journal, Semi Accurate, Kotaku all say hybrid. This quote also heavily hints at that.
If it was false just IMO someone reputable would've at minimum said "Nah, that's bullshit, guys". But no one has and it's been several weeks now.
Personally I trust Peer from IGN, I've been following Nintendo online since 1995 (yupppp, that long, N64 unveiling) and he's been covering Nintendo since then, he knows his shit.
