It would take a lot of convincing for me to buy a Vita pro. Sony pretty much abandoned the Vita due to their crappy advertising, and their stingy grip on the Vita's Memory. I love the VITA but having no official Sony support for it sucks. The Vita could have easily sold near PSP levels, but Sony insisted that the mobile market was the reason why the Vita failed, but if you look at Nintendo, they're killing it with their DS. If Sony officially supports it, and is selling better than the VITA, I will support it. But if not, they're already porting a majority of the VITA's games to steam and PS4.

Also, resolution is a very wasteful way of improving battery-powered devices in my opinion. For small screens, it offers extremely diminishing returns but wastes battery. I don't get this resolution fetish everyone is having at all.

That would just be a waste of Sony's time and money. The system is practically dead, and a Pro wouldn't help.

I would love a Vita Pro or even a whole new Vita.

Everything you said looks great, but I would have to have 4G LTE and support for text and calling. I would also go
with 4GB of RAM. Then have a yearly revision like all Playstation products, with enhanced devices every 2 - 3 years.

Give people a 4G Vita that can replace their smartphone, and the thing will be very successful. They obviously won't reach iPhone or Galaxy numbers, but a solid ~80million userbase similar to PSP, and profit on every unit sold would be a very huge business for Sony.

I know people try and say they tried this with the Xperia Play, but really they didn't. Xperia Play never had any established franchises, it had no connection to PSN, and it was never mentioned in any press conference for Playstation or Sony Mobile. A real effort to give Playstation users a phone, would easily result in success even if it was only 5% of the marketit would generate massive revenue and profits compared to what they are seeing with Vita and Xperia phones.

If its going to make the orginal PSVITA much cheaper (like the same price as the original 3DS here in Australia) then PLEASEEEEEEEE!
