Forums - Gaming - If You Could Get Rid of One Genre, Which One Would It Be?

MOBA, because they do nothing whatsoever for me. Those people spending their money (even if only 1% of them did) on other games would be better imo.

You can't really tell me what to do with my money though?. Saying what is better for me to spend my money on means I could direct you just the same.

JRPGs.
Anime rehash, grindy and more of the same. Sounds like them all.

Is that all ?

You worry about Japanese culture too much.

Do you have xenophobia by any chance ?

I have Xenophobia on Wii but Xenophobia 2 on WiiU didn't entice me enough to get the console.

But I think that's about it for JRPGs for me. I give myself off as a Xenophobia type of gamer uh? Cool.

None. What i like in gaming is freedom of choice and variety.

Firstly, do you not understand the purpose of the thread? Secondly, do you not know what `imo` means?

I do indeed, but that doesn't mean it's best to then directly input ones purchasing decision as well as the decision of a genre. The subject is entirely about the removal of a gnre, not a person's spending decision or reasons why.

Sports.

Runner up: Open world games overload. Seriously devs, not every game needs to be open world.

Well if you don`t like my reason why, too fucking bad. I`m still going to give it and I should hope most people do. It would be a pretty boring thread if people just gave a genre in a one word response and never had any actual reasonings.

Don`t even know why you`re taking so much offence at it either. I never said anything like `because I hate it and don`t want people to play it` and if I had that would have been a lie anyway, I don`t hate it, just don`t like it either. I`m actually giving some positives for why I would choose to remove that genre (namely more room for other genres) rather than just being solely negative.

Both of you stop. This isn't a thread to argue about whether or not someone's reason for removing a genre is legitimate, this is a hypothetical scenerio where you have the chance to remove a genre with no backlash from its destruction.

Chazore: He doesn't have to justify his reason, it's his; not yours.

Ka-pi96: Don't fall into arguments here. You don't have to justify yourself, so don't.
