I think people are forgetting the op is refering to only eu. I just noticed myself , and I'm going to say the same as before. GT5p is going to do better first week , but mkwii has a better life.
It is hard to say which will sell more... GT4 sold 5 million out there and it was the worst selling GT game... I am gonna have to go with GT5.... It will sell 4 million LTD in Others, Mario Kart will fall just short of 4 million.
WW would be a much closer comparison that I think MK would win...

even I have to say GT5 will sell way more... as in it will sell around 10 million units world wide. MKWii sadly I'm seeing maxing out at around 7 million.
Don't you think you might be overestimating a bit. I mean you did estimate the PS3 to sell 900k-1m consoles this week because of GT5P.
Also, MK sold close to 7 million on the GC, you really think MK will sell less on the Wii?

Thats total sell out. Most gamers dont pre-order so if there wasnt such a shortage I would expect a lot more.

the Wii's user base is different then what the GC's what so I honestly have no idea how it will sell. GT5's is a shoe in.
wait we are talking about that demo? ... MK...
opening week is a toss up, MK games open slow, Wii games open slow, others games open slow.... MK + Wii + Others = decent first week... maybe 250k for MK... If this 1 million preorder BS is true for GTProlouge then it will sell more first week(maybe 500k, and then make 1 million in 6 months.... it is hardcore what can I say)

this is dumb.... there are what? 4 million PS3's sold in others and you all expect A DEMO to sell to over 30%(Ihave heard people state that they expect as much as 1.3 million 1st week) of the userbase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First WEEK!
Every game is a PS3 savior.... UC:DF, Blacksite(that may have only been leo-j), Folklore, Lair, Heavenly Sword, R&C:ToD, GTPro(in Japan.... where It did not meet your expectations.. then you all said "Oh... AMZAING SALE For THe DEMO!!!1)" I am sure there were more PS3 Messiahs... but I am need to get some fresh air...
