DQ7 is only 100 hours if you are a completionist. I think it's about 70 hours if you don't try to do everything.

Further googling made it seem like was 100 hours just from start to finish.

Currently playing it. I'm not a fast player by any means. I meander around, talking to everyone, checking every nook and cranny of the game. Anyway will post my playtime in this thread after I finish it.
