EDIT 2: Yeah. Refreshing the page and every time one of the BotW-amiibos show up at the bottom it says 4 March. This is the Nintendo Europe website, so it can't be anything other than legit unless they made the same typo several times. Breath of the Wild will release March 4, if they won't delay it further. What we don't know is obviously if that would be the release of the WiiU or the NX version or both. If both versions launch the same day, then obviously so will the system.

Indeed, when you refresh & 1 of Zelda:BOTW Amiibo appears, it's still listed as March 4th! From what they've said so far NX is going to launch in March, might as well be the 4th!!! :D

Pretty exciting actually.

Nintendo havent released their games on Saturday since like 7 years ago and since 2013 have been releasing games on Fridays.

 

Going back to 2015, Amiibos 95% of the time are released on fridays and the other 5% have been on Sunday and Wednesday

3DS was released on a Saturday in Japan.  The Wii was released on Saturday in both the US and Japan.  So, not impossible that, if the NX was launching with the game, for the game to release on Saturday.

One thing that should be pointed out though is that even if this is a legit leak it only makes it relevant for Europe. No Nintendo hardware has ever been launched the same day worldwide

I guess IGN crawled into the site's code that still have tags listing the date as March 4.

And isn't weird that a lot of Nintendo's leaks come from it's European Branch. And these leaks usually come just before they have a Direct/Event. So its a good indicator that we will be hearing something soon. If they are even putting up items on their sites, with dates.

If it is a global launch here in Aus we have like 90% of our releases on a Saturday just saying :P 

We might luck out like Pokemon Go and get it on a Saturday :P (also Aus is under the Euro branch)

Aus doesnt really count though D:

the two main areas that this is based on is U.S. and Japan
