As much as I want to like it, it looks quite generic to me - maybe the gameplay will be good considering that it's PG after all.

how does it look generic?

In the sense that the characters, environments and enemies are nothing unlike what you'd see in many recent JRPG's (and even some animes). I find nothing enticing about the way this looks, but there is a chance the gameplay will carry it through, being that it's made by PG.

Another Musou game?

its absed on a rpg smartphone game which is quite sucessfull over there

I viewed the trailer earlier, and I thought it looked great.  But it's something I never heard of.  I'll wait and see.

I got a big Zelda: BotW vibe from those grassy green areas. Looks cool but I've been caring less and less about JRPGs in the past decade, with only Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts holding my interest.

Jesus Christ how many games is Platinum currently working on? Aren't they a relatively small company?

I don't know why but I'm in love with this game.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I grew up playing them as a kid and just general nostalga. I've played just about every FF besides tactics and XI (only finished a few tho) and I have a special cheesy, corny place in my heart for Kingdom Hearts. JRPGs have gotten stale for me, WRPGs is where it's at.

Personally, I cannot stand modern Final Fantasy, and I'm not a fan of classic Disney characters.  I have my reasons, and I'll be stomping on toes if I were to express them.  So let's just leave it that that.

Dude, step on some toes. I personally don't care if you thrash those two franchises all day, I'm sure you got your reasons. Don't be afraid of the people in these sites, we're nerds, all talk, no bite.

On the topic of modern FF tho, I am glad that FF is transitioning from Turn based to action oriented, it's the natural progression of RPGs, in my opinion, with the exception of actual Strategy RPGs a la Wasteland 2 and Divinity Original Sin (two of my favorite RPGs in recent years) Generally speaking though, I welcome more Action oriented JRPGs like Star Ocean and Tales series.
