Yep I noticed that too. The high scores are all from very Pro xbox sites.

it ll go over 65 and things will be fine.

65 isn't fine though. Other games, especially exclusives, have been torn apart for similar scores

MS were hoping for much more I'm sure

I dont think they were to be honest. The cheap price tag gave it away for me. They sort of justified the low scores with its price.

I feel sorry for that one guy who is pressing the Game division to have more Japanese games and invest in them and then this happens, scalebound is probably next.

So the big gripe I get from Destructoid is the 'fecth gameplay', it sounds like a 90's platformer where you have to collect a bunch of stuff to go forward.

This isn't surprising. Every bit of gameplay I saw for this just screamed 65-75 meta game.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

A lower price tag doesn't mean the game has to be mediocre. It just means the game had a smaller budget and they could attract people to it by making less expensive.

Case in point.

No way...you didn't actually bet that Scalebound would score 94 or higher...did you?

Well...I hope you enjoy your week off.

Well I made it before U4 came out, was thinking U4 could possibly get a 89 or 90 and maybe Scalebound would surprise everyone  and get 90+

It'll be the craziest thing if I won though
