This is like the third mediocre game coming from the director of Metroid Prime, Mark Pacini, since he left Retro Studios. How does one create such a classic masterpiece trilogy and then lose it immediately after?

By not being the mastermind behind the original game to begin with.

Funny you should say that

Producer(s) Keiji Inafune

Hmmm...

Hmm... I guessed 66, not that far off :)

Reading reviews looks like most critics think is actually a fun game that becomes repetitive at the end, is unambitious and it has technical problems, but looks like there is some fun to be had and the game does offers you a kind of experience you don't find a lot this days so even if it's a failure it may be worth getting it once is patched and like 15$, I'm still kind of interested on trying it.

Things the reviewers say:

"It's not bad"
"It's not a disaster"
"Slightly enjoyable"

"the bottom 23.7% of games".

From neograf cant remember from what it was but : "19% of reviewers recammend this game"

The most positive scores are almost all from Xbox fan sites.

Its probably worth a try just dont expect it to blow your mind, by how awesome it is.

This is upsetting. I was hoping this and The Tomorrow Children would be good. I looked really promising in the trailers.

This year started out with a bang and has just gradually turned into a parade of disappointment.

Last guardian in december, hopefully it ends with a bang as well

If Microsoft would've lend some engineers just to patch the technical issues like the loading screen issues, this game would probably be above a 70 on metacritic easily. Seriously Microsoft and Phil Spencer. You had to see this coming.

People are putting blame on Keiji Inafune.

"A good game, held back by bugs and remarkably terrible loading times." - Jimquisition review.

That seems like the summary on metacritic for the most part. I'm pissed Microsoft didn't bother to go and fix these issues. Just fixing the loading screen will probably give this game more good reviews.

Not really surprising since his name always came up in the articles about this game.
