Forums - Gaming - Recore [First Impression]

Still sounds pretty okay to me. I'll wait for some later reviews that go into more depth regarding the gameplay, but this guys video was pretty informative as far as first impressions go.

Have there been any other first impressions? One isn't really enough to judge a whole game by.

The PS5 Exists.

The surprise is people even hype this game...

- Trailer was ok, but have not seen anything else for a long ass time afterwards
- Keiji was working on Mighty no9 and Recore at the same time. Look at how poorly mighty no9 turned out to be.
- This game had to be AAA or doom. Look at the settings, the potential back story and everything else. Doubt the dev team had the AAA budget or the AAA talent to succeed.

We will need some more previews/reviews before we make judgments. Day 1 patch could fix some issues and they've probably been working on it since game went gold.

Really interested how this game will be received...Inafune's time is running short

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Well, it's not looking good to be honest. Perhaps another patch will sort it out?

loading times take forever....

screen tears, fps in the low 20s, texture pop ins, bad textures in spots, platforming too simple, lock-on auto aim, gameplay is okayish, colour coded enemies need coloured ammo, decent gun play. Storywise its okay, the guy says the overall quality is low, and is dissapointed.

"he knows why its not getting promoted by MS, and why its priced low"
says its because the game isnt worth it.

That dude is brutal... jeez.

And I thought this was gonna be Microsofts version of R&C, guess not.

"This is just one man's impression, but it's looking like this game may be dud. "

Kinda makes this thread pointless, One mans impressions can neither make a game a dud or great, Need to see a minimum or 10-20 before any kind of judgement can be given out.

Microsoft needs to stop giving money to third party that they cannot trust and start building dream team devs. THis is one thing that i've always admired about Sony. They make their own great studios and take existing studios and beef them up. Microsoft did this with Gears, but they took the original cast and just left them as is. They need to get more creative so they will never have to deal with half-assed shit like this.

Keiji Inafune strikes again.

I really wanted to buy this game on PC, especially since my new PC will be ready in a few weeks
