It didn't sell 8mil units day one. and in a year and a half for the release the user base would be closer to 40 mil. PLUS all the systems it sells because this is the ps3 savior in japan.

Ever notice that ALL Xbox 360 counterparts are selling better than their Xbox versions?
Maybe, just *maybe* some of the games are selling better on PS3 (such as COD4)....Because *gasp* Call of Duty 4 is better than the Tetryarch produced piece of turd that was Call of Duty 2: The Big Red Turd by Tetryarch.

Is 35mil not considered closer to 40 mil than 11mil is? I can see the Ps3 being at 35mil at the end of 2009. (Im saying FF13 is a christmas launch in 2009)

This is the exact same thing that has been happening since the PS3 launched ... People will hype PS3 games' quality and sales before they're released, but upon release (when they underperform) they claim that they never hyped these games.
Again you act as if I knew anything, I thought ioi had the data for ps2 games in all regions. The million sellers at the least.
Well anyhow, FF XIII cant outsell FF X? Your certain?
