Sorry to break it to you people, in case you have not heard ban bets are not enforceable on VgChartz. The boss himself, ioi, stated he considers Ban Bets to be a joke. "Bans should be taken seriously". People can so easily create an alternative account to post on here in case they were banned.

So how do you people feel about this issue. Happy or sad. I bet a lot of you would be happy that you do not have to retire your account for a week, considering a recent ban bet was made regarding US console sales between XBox 360 and PS3 for March. Quite a few PS3 fans would of had to create a fake account to post if the ban bet had of been enforced.

Just as well, I'd hate to see valued co-members be gone for months on end because of some bet.
There is the possibility of VG$ bets though, as I've understood it.

Well the one who loses a ban bet could always troll or spam to initiate a real ban. Type " I Lost a ban bet with *insert name*" and post once in about 5 threads, more if you're ignored. =p

 you know from experience?i bet those actions  would result in a one or two day ban.

Well, there is always the option of trolling.
As far as I know troll bans lasts for a week.
Just say "The *insert game console* sucks, BTW I lost a bet with *insert name*" without giving a reason as to why said game console sucks. This course of action is much cleaner than the spamming one since you only need to type it once in one random thread.
