But didn't it? The number of mentions of Mario alone is bigger than Sony + PS4 Pro. Same for iPhone 7. Plus, if you take the time to search "PS4 Pro" on twitter, you'll see a lot of negativity.

I think the idea of a Mario game being on a non Nintendo console is a much interesting topic then SONY announcing an upgrade to an existing, leading console.

Op nothing surprising. Super Mario Run will be released on a bigger mainstream audience, and once it reachs Android it will be bigger.

I mean, just look at Pokemon Go. If this game get at least 5% of PG success while being a paid game will be enough.

It is a big deal that this game is coming to mobile, but I don't think it's that unexpected... probably being tide to the app store is why it's getting so much attention
