That was rather underwhelming. The fact that they didn't mention the specs at all is a clear sign that they didn't adjust anything about the PS4 Pro after MS announced its 6TF project Scorpio. They didn't mention the specs, so it's pretty obvious they don't match. Otherwise they would have boasted about them.

Well yeah, it's $399 and comes out a year earlier. I think Scorpio will come out too late to make a difference to anything

Did you forget the One S?

The One S i everything the PS4 Pro is that I saw and might even be more.

They did not mention if the PS4 Pro can play UHD 4k Blu Ray movies.

But the Xbox One S is $100.00 cheaper, or $50 cheaper for same HDD size. It upscales to 4k, has hdr, does native 4k content like Netflix and (youtube?), and also does Amazon Video in 4k and plays 4k blu rays.

Tell me what PS4 Pro does that Xbox One S doesn't?

And One S has been out for some time, this doesn't come out till what Nov did I hear?  Scorpiron don't have to exist if all MS wants to do is match the Neo(Pro)

That was boring and sort of felt pointless. Sure it got the point across but they could have easily just issued a press release instead of having a whole event to just say "There's a slim, and then there's a new upgraded model".

I would have felt different had they shown any new games but they didn't.

So you went in expecting it to be yet another E3 (for no reason) and got disappointed by your own hopes?

I've never once said I expected it to be like E3. It would have been better had they put this in their E3 rather than this boring event. Good try though.

Where are all the people Sony was said to screw over with upgraded PS4 earlier this year? Lol
Sony introduced this perfectly, no confusion, you get your money's worth...$299 or $399, it's simple, it always was.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

In any case, I will most likely get it, but I hope the games I'm getting in the coming months will support the Pro features on regular 1080p TVs, by improving picture quality, framerate and whatnot. Otherwise, it's not going to be worth it for me until I upgrade to a 4K TV, which I'm not really in a haste to do.

it runs games in 4k and has polaris, specs are pretty obvious

PS4 Pro is more powerful, no?

I went in expecting to see them say Neo has xx.x gflops, it has this cpu, it has this ram. It plays 4k blu rays, it plays netflix, amazon video, hulu, ect in 4k. It is HDr10 supported

What did I hear? Netflix and Youtube in 4k and they are making special apps for the system. Uhh okay, assumed. What device doesn't. Let alone if you have a 4k hdr tv to take advantage of it, your tv most assuradely already has apps for both as well.

The specs, no numbers just "we increased them". No mention if this plays 4k blu rays. NO mention of the HDR support. Guessing just HDR10 and not Dolby Vision.

This was a meeting to show what the new system is. YOu can get all techy and dry. THis is not E3. So then atlk specs.

LOL!!! Are you serious? The One S isn't even as powerful as the regular PS4. xD

While the PS4 Pro is more than twice as powerful as the regular PS4.

The Pro doesn't need to exist. They should have just scrapped it and next E3 sweep the feet under MS and announced the PS5 for 2018

Why would they cut an incredibly successful console's life short?

Yeah that sounds silly... this gen is going to last until 2019.

There are no "gens" anymore if Scorpio and Pro are the start of just having upgraded consoles every few years.

It's more powerful maybe. In the same way that the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox One.

A few extra fps or pixels. Who cares. They are never game breaking differences, and usually only noticable when watching some frame rate video.

They both will get the same games, play them nearly identical.

It is basicall just a X Box One S, Sony version.
