Isn't it the biggest mobile game in U.S. history, and one of the biggest overall, ever? Seemed like kinda a big deal. The sheer amount of pornography it has inspired is laudable in itself . Way more than Madden or THPS. And is Sony suffering? STILL?!

Who said "Nintendo are doomed" because of Mobile? If anything people said the opposite and that they should switch to mobile/third party entirely.

The only people I see using "Nintendo Doomed" is Nintendo fans making fun of the non-existant people who are supposedly saying "Nintendo Doomed". Onionberry that's you!

I wouldn't really quote Pokemon Go as a source of inspiration, as Sony. Niantic and Nintendo had Gamefreak's IP to push Go to the success that it did achieve. I don't think Sony has that kind of 1st party IP brand power. And I doubt they'd get 3rd parties to do mobile titles for them because 3rd parties are already doing their own mobile games like Fallout. Let's see how this goes.

I like how everyone is so keen on AR and that it is the next big thing.  Face Raiders on the 3DS was fun for about 5 mins.   AR and VR might as well go sleep with each other.

I don't think Sony will do well in the mobile market tbh. Their handheld games are usually just downgraded console games. I don't think they understand the casual crowd.
