After more than a decade of waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3, there may be hints that the game will be made exclusively for the PS4. This was after the game was removed from the Japaneses Xbox One website.

While this could just be the result of a glitch in the website, making the game exclusive for the PS4 is not surprising. The game has never been on any Xbox platform, and until it was announced nobody expected it to be available on the Xbox One.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, until recently there has been a listing for Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Japanese Xbox website. However the listing can no longer be found and instead the original link directs to a missing page.

Thoughts? Is this a glitch or Square Enix won't release it on the Xbox platform?

It's probably just in Japan. I am almost sure that it'll come out for the XB1 in the West.

Oooh if this is true, there's gonna be one hell of an outcry. To announce a game of that caliber to Xbox gamers then take it away. This would spell big time trouble for SE. I would find that offense MUCH worse than the whole Rise Of Tomb Raider debacle.

Japanese exclusive is kinda expected.

If it totally cancelled for Xbox One (unlikely), it wouldn't matter much given they have bothered to port the trilogy to Xbox platforms. They didn't bother to bring a following to Xbox platforms.

Theres no reason to release the game on Xbox one in Japan, it should release on both consoles in the West, would be suprised if it doesn't.

Well it was already going to release on PS4 regardless. Xbox was the biggest surprise. Still, I would be surprised if this doesn't release on Xbox. It's still too bad that Xbox won't be getting KH 2.8 later this year. Xbox users should be introduced to the previous games if they are getting KH3.

I'm confused. So the game won't possibly release in Japan, but still have a launch in the US?! You know what... it makes since now. They (Japan) would have the PS4 version to play the game, so why even make one for Xbox One. I get it now. :p

IIRC It's the same thing with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and MGSV. 

Yeah I went back in edited my reply to you. It made sense after I thought about it. As long as the PS4 version is there, it would make 0 sense for an Xbox version as it doesn't sell well at all there.
