Why wouldn't she say what the battery is (such as in mah) instead of "it doesn't sound that great"?
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
If she gives her sources away.....they could get blacklisted

720p is pretty good by Nintendo standards, lol.

Wouldn't no camera mean no augmented reality games though? That part seems like an odd design choice. |
Augmented reality really isn't that important... and if you're going to bring up Pokemon Go I'd say that the camera related functions of that game aren't nearly as important as the gps. The game was popular because you had to go out, not because you could see the pokemon overlayed ontop of an image of the location you were in.

I don't mind the games being 720P and better quality, but having the 1080p for browing and viewing movies and stuff (if its a portable) seems like a slam-dunk because you want people to be able to do all kinds of stuff with it, and the console, if true, is quite big with over 6" 720p is just not going to be great, imagine if the console has to last 5+ years, its only going to get more dated.

And no Mic would mean no online chat.
Oh, my... I hope this isn't true, for Nintendo's sake.
This was always one of the dangers of going with an hybrid device, if you do everything perfect, you'll hit the ball out of the park, but if you make any mistake you'll end with a device that won't worth neither as a handheld nor as a home console.
With not only a fan, but a lousy one, a screen too big to carry it in your pocket and bad battery life, this device doesn't sound like a good handheld. And with the low power processor, those detachable controllers and again the loud fan, it doesn't bode well as a home console either.
Well, at least she's now sure that it will be region free. Let's look at the positive part of it!
Please excuse my bad English.
Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
If this info is true (and I trust ER as much as my old friends who said their uncle used to work for Nintendo) it seems like a step backwards from Wii U.

720p on 6-inch screen is pretty good for movies even. For text/websites that's where it's probably not as good but even then its not like its unusable.
I have a 8-inch Samsung 1280x800 tablet and it's fine.
