RROD hasn't been a problem for me, mostly because I haven't played any dvd movies, and don't block the vent.



And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

i would love to get a 360 but my friends who have had one has rrod on them. I will stick with Wii for now and if enough good games come out on PS3 I will look at buying one of them in the future.

120GB XBox 360 Elite with GTA IV at the same price of a PS3. that is an excellent deal. BTW XBox 360 Elite model, like every other new XBox 360 comes with a 3 year warranty so you will have no problems.

from pretty much every report I have read, the RRoD is a thing of the past. I have not heard of Falcons failing en masse. If someone has a link to the contrary, I would love to see it.

RROD is usually the owners fault, they don't put there 360 in a suitable place and cover the vent. I have had my 360 since nearly launch, and have never had 1 problem with it.

 If you are talking about any of the units made in the first year, you are full of crap.  The new ones are supposed to be more reliable though.

Yeah, that's a load of bullshit. I love my 360, in fact it's my favorite console of the seventh generation, but the RRoD is not the owner's fault. I had mine completely ventilated with additional fans and it still red ringed on me. The build quality on the first two years of units were, as politely as I can put it, complete and utter shit.
