Xbox One holding very well. 3 bundles in the top 100 available right now, vs just two for the PS4 (slim coming in a couple days, but I don't know if it'll be enough). I expect a slim but nonetheless a victory for the XB1.



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

In September? Eh. Nah. Remember, the places matter. This is on top of other outlets that have the Slim ahead. September should be Sony's comfortably.

Monthly rankings say otherwise. The slim will probably launch somewhere between 20-40, and I see it steadily declining from there. Most are probably holding off for the Pro, so I expect moderate sales at best. Guess the 4k bluray is helping Microsoft ;).

I don't think 4K Blur-ray has much to do with anything. ;)

Monthly rankings are how they are, right now, but unless the trend suddenly shifts in the hourlies , heavily favoring Xbox, I don't see it pulling out the win.

We'll see. But given how well the slim is holding even with a PS4 price cut has to mean something. I mean, the PS4 slim is only 3 spots ahead and launching in 2 days. We'll see, but I think my gut is right.

This is a nice battle. slim vs slim. I still expect the ps4 slim to win. Next month could be anyone game.

And is Uncharted vs Halo's bundle. Both with their biggest titles, but I think that PS4 will outsell Xbox one this month. Xbox barely won the months prior to the Slim's launch. And now, after 1 month of release of the Xbox Slim, they don't have the Pre-orders to raise the numbers for this month.

I agree.  I see the ps4 slim winning but not by a huge margin.  I wouldn't be surprised if the xb1 slim wins though

Since Pro will launch in November and not October as i thought at first, maybe October will be a XBO victory.

Gears will do great. Battlefield will sell some nice numbers.

no way sony will win september npd with the slim release
the slim will be tracked for just 2 and 1/2 weeks out of 5
the ps4 slim will have zero preorders. the casuals need to know the new model first, via advertising etc. all hardcore gamer will go for the pro. the ps4 slim is also no additional value compared to the original ps4.
the ps4 only has the $50 pricecut to $299.


for the Xbos on the other hand, September will be the first full month with 5 weeks tracking of the $299 500gb and $349 1tb bundle
