This is the statement I'm answering:

'Ps4 pro will sell 1mill ww this year.

Trust me, it's going to sell a hell of a lot more than 1m 'this year', 'Worldwide'.

Too bad there isn't an Europe Amazon.

And then we had somebody say 1M in US alone. We shouldn't be making wild predictions off of a few days of data.

Lol you should know better young man. It depends what Sony decide to promote more aggressively this holiday and which one will get the big 3rd party bundles. Do we have any idea of the profit margin for each? That might give us an idea which one Sony will want to push more.

It's not that bold. Pre-orders for Sep/Oct/Nov and sales for December.

Maybe you're right. I do think it depends on what Sony wants to push more. If they push them equally or Pro more it could do 1M based on initial impression for demand. If they go all out with a $250 Slim cod bundle with nothing for the Pro, that will seriously effect the Pro's sales.

My concern is we will hear that famous 'a lot of people' quote if it doesn't hit 1M. But Sony are in full control and the have a lot of good potential chess moves especially with PSVR coming soon. It depends on what pieces they want to move.

They didn't give specific projections for the pro, but ps4 shipments are supposed to be 20 million from April 2016 to March 2017. Since that's even more than last year, when they shipped 8.4 million ps4's for the holiday quarter (October-December 2015) they're aiming for upwards of 9 million + shipped that quarter. 

I was just guessing before, and since a few days of Amazon data can only tell us so much, your estimate could always be a lot closer than mine :) 

Here is how I made my obvious prediction: NPD November+Decemmber 2015: 1.539K+1.582K=3121K.

we know that the trend show a ps4 selling better than last year with the same price. So if we assume the ps4 sells 3Million in the Us this year, the slim (the old one will probably be dead by november) will need to sell more than twice the amound of ps4 pro to make my prediction wrong, And the pre-order trend is showing the complete opposite.

And also Sony would be stupid to push the ps4 slim sale over the Pro, other wise they wouldn't have hurry to make sure it release in the holliday season, the price of the ps4 pro beeing unly 50$ higher than the 1TB slim simply prove that it is the console they will push.  And I don't think they will make the same mistake with the ps4 launch shortages( which is imo the only argument that could make it sell bad).

so I predict 1Mill+ in the us but 2Mill isn't out of the range since it will have a launch boost lol.

Edit: I never used to make saved Prediction(pointless imo), I make a calculation, if I m right good, If Im wrong then I will know that I missed some crucial parameters that made my prediction wrong

Well we might not have numbers but during this gen wenn it comes to consoles(ps4, wiiu, x1), if a console is in the top 10 in the monthly and another isn't in the top ~60-70, you probably outsell it more than twice in NPD results.
