Looks like Microsoft won the Battle of the Slims thanks to 4k and HDR support.
Common Sony. :/

Even with that 4k upscaler, its still running games at lower resolutions than the PS4.

Ei. ALOT of games are 720-900p but run 1080p on the PS4.

Its not like the Xbox One Slim, has better graphics in games than the PS4.

Even then most people dont have 4k TVs or even less HDR supported ones.

I dont think its fair to say Microsoft "won" the slim battle.

Their model just looks prettier.

So a size reduction of 33.3%. Not bad Sony.

Just the height.  Length and width just slightly reduced.

No, I calculated the reduction based on the full measurements as stated in the OP.

the overall volume is reduced by 33.3% !

So basically, if you want to watch Netflix in 4K, this is not the console for you, it's just a nice slim, inexpensive gaming console for gamers.

she should clean that fuckin room, jeez.

The performance differential goes without saying. The Slim consoles weren't about setting a new bar of performance, that doesn't happen untill Neo and Scorpio.

The point of 4k Blu-Ray support is not to play games. It's for media. Add in the fact that the Playstation 4 can't play back Audio discs... The Xbox One S is simply superior at Multimedia.

HDR may not be supported today, but it will be supported tomorrow and if you are like me... Would like the support now.

Microsoft simply made more effort with it's Slim console and has more "check-box" features, hence why it "won" this round, no amount of "damage control"  will change that fact. :P

You mean "imo" MS won.

Console is still weaker than a PS4, about the same size of a regular PS4 and more expensive than a slim.

All depends on what you want out of a slim.

Change the fact that's it's an underpowered current gen console at a premium cost compared to the PS4s :p

We can do this all thread long lol

No need for any of the 4K stuff, 4K Tvs already do all the work besides play UHD Blu Rays......which pretty much no one ever buys, most still don't even buy Blu Rays. 30 dollar movies is a rip off atm and no one I know are buying these UHD discs lol
A slim should be made cheaper for new customers, and pointless 4K support that Tvs do already....just makes it more expensive
