In the build up to the nx reveal Nintendo is going to reveal 5 random wtf 3ds designs then randomly post a picture of the nx and list off a few games towards the end of September. Just to screw with us

That makes too much sense. They had so much hope for the game, lol.

If it is true (more than likely is) they'd probably rather let people know it exists than to just release it without any word about it. That way they dont have a lot of galaxy 3DS XL's gathering dust because no one knows they're even a thing. This way they sell better than if they were bundled
