Valkyria: Azure Revolution will launch for PlayStation 4 for 7,990 yen in Japan on January 19, Sega announced. A PS Vita version is also in development and will launch for 6,990 yen on the same day.

First-print copies of the game will include a product code to download “Judgment Chapter: Vanargand Formation,” a fully-voiced additional story set the day before the game’s main story.

If you pre-register on the game’s official website, you’ll receive a product code to download a “fully-voiced additional story” on the game’s release date.

The latest demo of the game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show in September, where a new trailer will also debut at the Tokyo Game Show. Attendees will receive a PlayStation 4 download code for the “Battle Demo Ver. 2.0” as a present for playing, which can be downloaded in early October. If you already own “Battle Demo Ver. 1.0,” you won’t need a product code to play “Battle Demo Ver. 2.0.”

First time we've ever seen a Vita version added to a release like this that was exclusive before?

Blimey.

FUCK YEAH!!!!

please release in the west too... please do...

This feels like going the other way around :D

Nice of SEGA to know where the fans of this fantastic series are. I hope we get it in the west.

Nice to see... but you know it ain't making its way to the west.

I hope version 2 is a lot better than the first demo - the style is georgous, but man did the battle system in that one suck

What's a Vita? Is that a new playstation product?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Great for Vita owners (in Japan anyways at the moment)! Looking forward for NA release date.

Great announcement! :D

I could see PS4 version coming over, but long shot that PSV version follows.
