Well it's not the third parties fault, just saying.

Seriously, that's mosty Nintendo's fault. 

While I love Nintendo and own multiple Nintendo products, I can't help but feel that some of the hardcore Nintendo fans are a little too hardcore and think that the company can't do any wrong. Nintendo needs to be the one to reach out to third parties with dev kits and apparently that doesn't happen. Nintendo's saving grace for the last 20 years has always been Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon, all their first party ventures.
