Why Sega still make games to PS3/360?

It might have something to do with Sonic on the PS3 and 360 selling almost one million copies. Or it could have something to do with the almost 29 million PS3's and 360's in people's homes.
Seriously, you should concentrate more on enjoying Nintendo, and concentrate less on hating Sony and MS.

Well I don't know about you but if Unleashed is anything like Rings then even renting it would be a waste of my time and money! Visually the game looks great but if the game play differs from that of the adventure series then I will be likely skipping this one out.
With Sega supposedly pooring such a big budget into the making of Unleashed I'm betting that it will appear on all 4-consoles. Two versions are probubly being developed. One version for X360/PS3 the other for Wii/PS2 and possibly PSP.
Sega is trying to restore its credibility after failing the industry for the last few years. I mean sure Secret Rings sold well but it was an embarrasment and so was Sonic's debut on the 360/PS3.
This game looks promising if released on all three consoles I will most likely pick it up for my 360 rather then Wii. If the game is anything like the rails centric Secret Rings then I will skip it altogether.
Lastly GameStop knows crap they estimate a time of release and which consoles games will be on. Same goes for EBGames and all other retailers they list games the second word breaks and make the rest up!

I'm sure if you went around Sega HQ and took a poll, Sonic on the PS3/360 would be considered an embarassment, but not Secret Rings.
If Unleashed is in the vein of Secret Rings, I'll give it consideration. If it's another 3D Sonic Adventure-type game, I'll pass. Now if it turns out to be a fantastic 3D Sonic Adventure-esque game, then that's another story.
Then again, you're right...GameStop COULD be guessing about Unleashed, but we've found out about many games with their listings through the years. I'm still not totally convinced it is coming to the Wii, but this is something to consider.

It's true as a former Gamestop employee they do this often.
NEVER EVER take a gamestop listing as anything solid.

However, the leaker also said it was for all 3 platforms and the file names said 360/PS3/Wii. Also pearljammer this game is completely based on the motion controlled Sonic and the Secret Rings on the Wii. If you noticed, the times when the game runs on rails with the camera behind it was the system of movement in SSR. The motion controls worked well in SSR. The game's issues were it's stupid RPG system where you had to buy better controls and the lack of a backup camera. |
Ah, I didn't play SSR. Just got my Wii recently and didn't hear good things about SSR, so I didn't really look into it.
That makes me a bit more hopeful.
wow--well, hopefully this game will be the game that restores Sonic to his former godliness!! But the fact that its coming out on the ps2 makes me uneasy about the Wii version :/
