I will buy the Crash Trilogy Remaster, but I don't think the franchise has a bright future. It really wasn't very good after the PS1 era. And making a new Crash in the style of the old PS1 games wont really get the attention of newer gamers I think.

Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity were both better than any game in the OG trilogy.

I highly disagree.

Have you played them? The controls alone make them far superior.

Yeah.... Wrath of Cortex was trying hard to copy Crash 3 but it had funky (in a bad way) graphics and pretty awful level design. The tone was all off too, it FELT like an immitation, like a fake forgery of a Crash Game.

Twinsanity was better than Wrath, I haven't played it in long enough to comment too much, But I'm almost certain I think Crash 2 and 3 are both better by far.

Crash 2 is my Favorite Crash Platformer.

Would be hard to disagree if I hadnt. I love the controls in the old Crash games, but I do agree that most younger gamers probably dont.

I don't remember the controls being different for WoC... what did they change?!? X for Jump, Circle for Slide, Square to Spin... don't know why younger gamers wouldn't like those controls. xD

It didnt have a fixed camera. Which I think worked very well for the series.

Just the camera. Felt much better in WoC and Twinsanity. If you go back to the OG Crash trilogy today, they feel awfully dated.

They probably do. I played them at the time and loved it, so for me they still work. I didnt play Silent Hill at the time and think it has aged horribly, but fans that did play it at the time still think it holds up well.

Not for me they don't. If anything I feel like other than the first game, WoC aged worse.

But yeah... I've never really seen an issue with the fixed camera at all, it's not like you can't see what you're doing. I don't see why you'd even want to move the camera in Crash 3.
