Its started crashing every ten minutes...the fuck?

Yeah happened to me few days ago. Almost everytime i'd get into my ship it would crash. Besides that though I haven't had any issues.

Patch v1.04 is live its supposed to fix problems with crashing, dont know much else no patch notes yet but so far last 20min since I installed it have been no crashes at least, seems a bit smoother. maybe its in my head lol

Hopefully this patch fixes the options button crash I was having. Using options button to open options, then using options button to close options would crash the game like 25% of the time.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

I've only had 1 crash yesterday since the patch, things have improved. I didn't play that long though as all the late nights have caught up with me. I gave up trying to keep my eyes open while on another long pulse travel.

Damn it just crashed lol! Options screen again, reported. (Just turned it on in remote play to check my stats, crashed not 2 minutes in)

I pretty ran out of gameplay a while ago. There's no more reason to visit space stations or outposts anymore to access any tech, it's all already known. No surprises, just more words to learn (although no need to talk to aliens anymore), some more story drips from ruins, finish the atlas path and find planets that looks promising enough to hunt down all the fauna. Oh and I guess going to the center.

Last night I explored a green star system with buggy ruins and agressive sentinels

Some pretty grass but no fauna

Hot desert, still no sand

And a few more barren ugly ones. Game is back up, my stats
Travelled 187,332u on foot, met 63 aliens
Learned 442 words (and still not the standard greeting for the 3 species lol)
Destroyed 101 Starships and 331 Sentinels
Warped 35 times, lots of planets, still only 1 where all species wanted to appear.

Anyway still fun to explore, only now ignoring everything but monoliths and ruins. I guess I could got to manufacturing plants to check for more recipes, still need that neutrino module to repair my pulse yet tau component. It always drops until you need it.

Oh and I don't know if it's a glitch but I made that big ship from the trailer spawn a few times while fighting sentinels in space. It warped in at a 5 star wanted level, opened fire, yet then it disappeared again 20 seconds later and my wanted level reset to 1.  Maybe they were scared.

Has anyone been traveling to rare stars? The Yellow, Red, Green, and Blue stars(that's the order they rank in rarity)
I landed on my first Blue star yesterday. Awesome looking planets.

Can't wait for the first content patch to jump back in. Hows the stability after the recent patch?

Terrible for me personally. I had it crash more yesterday than ever.

Anyone having trouble with milestones not increasing? My extreme is stuck at 3.0 sols, 2.0 til next one...?

It doesn't explain, but each milestone is actually cumulative (each is X.0 plus the previous milestone) and this resets when you leave the planet or enter a building (caves are fine and I believe entering your ship is fine as long as you don't leave the planet). Basically your next milestone is 5.0 sols, once you reach over 3.0 it will start tracking up again. The best thing to do is go straight for the 32.0 sols in one go, I was fortunate to be able to do this on a frenzied planet with high value resources.

Yes, see my 2 posts above yours ;)

I've only been to one blue (class B) so far though, last night green (class E), red one next (class K I think). I haven't spotted an O star yet on the map.

Buildings are fine, just don't die or leave the planet. You can sit in a building for 8 hours to get the milestone if you feel like it. Ship probably works too although sentinels can attack it. I was dumb enough to walk away while the game was loading at 27.7 sols, immediate death loop after load overwriting both restores. Hence I left the game running while in a building to get those 7 hours back. (15 minutes per Sol)

Oh right, my bad I thought I read they fixed that with the day 1 patch.

I did it over 2 attempts because not realising I left the first planet after the 3rd/4th milestone so it wasn't as bad for me. Towards the end, when I had pretty much consumed all the resources on the planet, I did leave it in a cave for a bit while I watched a bit of TV/did some real life stuff, having the life support upgrades helped as I didn't have to check on it too often.
