Apparently the new demo has a match between england & Germany. If this is a game of the 2008 championship then why have they put england in it?

It's from Electronic Arts? If so, there's your answer. They probably just left only european teams in, updated the rosters, and it's set.

I believe the game includes qualifying, still, I agree that a demo should include qualified teams :P

It's simple:

The British buy more games than their European brothers. Therefore, game companies put England in a demo to promote their game.

Yes, this could have been their reasoning. Although I doubt that many English FIFA soccer fans will buy this game.

If the guys from EA Sports would've wanted to put some irony in their demo, they could have chosen England vs. Croatia.

Or Greece vs. Portugal (playable twice), at least.

i think its cause every european team is gunna be in this game or because they have qualifying gropus included in the game

Yes, all European countries (and Israel) are always included in EA's UEFA Championship games in order to be able to play the qualifying as well as the main event.

But I don't think that's the reason why they chose England for the demo. England wasn't the best choice for the demo, that's for sure.

Popularity reasons, I guess.

I thought it was quite good, but still nothing on PES
