White flag out. I wasn't fathoming the possibility of Skip with binocs as your turret man. That sends a blood curdling chill down my spine. He's devastating with them.

I hope I can make it this week, but no promises. Both my wife and I have this weekend off from work, so if we're vegging out at the house I'll be there, but if we go biking or to a movie or something probably not. Sorry, the one with the vagina comes first on the list of priorities.

So now that I've had an hour and half or so playing with jet packs, I think I like them. I was only playing CTF, so I don't know about all the strategic gameplay implications of their existence, but in CTF at least it wasn't ridiculously cheap. The ability to lock onto them with rockets and missiles, as well as their lacking speed makes them easy enough to destroy. The turbo boost is also very useful in a wide variety of situations, so it's pretty cool.

The new stage Tau crater is a sniper haven though. You make like that you may not, but it is designed for sniping definitely. Each base has 2 or 3 sniper rifles laying around, plus the giant intricate tower right in the middle of the stage, and various highpoints scattered around the stage. If you want some sniping practice that seems to be the place to do it.

just make sure wenlan has a sniper rifle.  If he's quick enough on the draw he might get me before I unleash hell.

I swear everytime you (or badger) target me with Binocs in the summer my first reaction is to wonder if there are crickets around (since my window is open). Then I think "Oh shoot, I better start running" and die.

Okay guys, I got the new map, and I'll be there this Saturday. The new map is pretty cool. Jetpacks are fun, and I love that you can jump off from a Warhawk if you have a jetpack. These trophies are making people do less team work. They would all hog the flag or the cores. It also seems that many great players are returning to play. The in-game music is pretty nice, but it sucks that you can't listen to the mines. You can lower it, but it's too low to hear.
